Ten on Tuesday

Here we go...

1. I started my new job yesterday. Just watched one little guy. I didn't know what to do with myself when he was napping and such. Didn't really feel like working. I suppose when there is three of them I will stay busy.
2. I turned on the heat in my apartment this morning for the first time. It's getting cold here, and I hate the world because of it. Except it warmed up today, and I forgot to turn the heat off when I left, so it was a sauna when I got home. I threw on the bikini and called it a beach day.
3.  I had weird dreams last night. I usually do, but I remember these ones. I dreamed that I was getting out of the car, wrapped in a towel and needed to get dressed somewhere. My towel slipped, and a group of people were standing right by me. One of them yelled, "Why don't you get dressed before you get out of the car!" and I yelled back, "Why don't you shut your ugly face?" I then proceeded to moon them and compare my backside to his ugly face. Classy.
4. I finally feel like I've found a church/service that I really like going to. That's good.
5. I love that new shows are back on TV. All the shows I like are on Wednesdays and Thursdays- SVU, Modern Family, Cougar Town, Bones, The Office, and 30 Rock. All great. Survivor and Amazing Race are good too, but I don't cry if I miss them.
6. I cooked chicken tortilla soup in the crock pot on Sunday & have lots of lefovers to use throughout the week. Great idea Steph. I ate too much in CA, my pants are all a bit snug.
7.  When I was flying back here, I noticed two things that I really hate that people do in airports- Talk loudly on their cell phone, as if the people in the next gate want to hear about their life, and second- when people wear their sunglasses inside while waiting for their flights. I mean we're inside douche bags, no bright lights. And no body thinks you are a movie star, so take them off.
8. Speaking of things I don't like- I really hate the class I am in right now. My motivation is so low when it comes to finishing it. I want to start a new one that is more interesting.  Peckerhead class.
9. When is it time to file for taxes? I'd like some moneys back.
10. For some reason this week the phrase, "Every senior citizen should wear Life Alert," has been in my head. Maybe its because Liz Lemon was wearing one on 30 Rock, since she lives alone and is likely to slip and fall. Maybe my subconscious is telling me to get Life Alert.

Finished my first Ten on Tuesday. That wasn't so hard.

  1. 1. Yay! Nap time is for house cleaning, laundry, weed pulling, dog hating or catching up on your soaps.

    2. I love beach days in the house.

    3. Ha! Naked dreams always stress me out. I'm always frantically tying to find a place to go to the bathroom, and it's usually in the middle of an open room, and everyone can see my naked self going to the bathroom. Sounds like your naked dreams ain't no thang for you.

    4. That is good.

    5. Tuesday is my favorite tv night. I like Thursdays, too.

    6. I don't think I've ever had tortilla soup. I remember people always getting in at Millies.

    7. So true!

    8. That's no fun.

    9. For real!

    10. Probably.

  2. So what exactly is 10 on Tuesday? Am I supposed to respond to each like cool Kim did?

  3. You don't have to, Candace. You should get a blog though, and write all about your dogs. Because that's completely not weird.

    1. I hope you had a book. (That's my solution to everything. I hope you had a book.)

    2. That would have made me throw up. Seriously. I hate the house being that hot.

    3. That's almost identical to something you've done in real life.

    4. That is good!

    5. The only show of all of those that I watch is Modern Family.

    6. That sounds sooo good.

    7. I fully agree with these strongly-worded statements.

    8. Are you close to being done?

    9. Last year I got back $1,500. God bless being billed for graduate school tuition, even if I paid for in student loans. I was able to write it off and buy an iPhone. This year? Yeah. I'm probably gonna owe. Will you share yours with me?

    10. Do it.

  5. I'm glad you decided to try the crock pot!

And Candace, I'm waay too lazy to comment about every single one.
