Seven Reasons Why it is Impossible for me to Eat Healthy in the Winter.


It’s really been about ten years since I’ve posted anything. My sincerest apologies to those of you who hang on my every word. Winter months are in full swing, which means my legs are usually hairy and my pants are always a size too small. Motivation fails me in cold months to eat healthy and here are the seven reasons why it is impossible for me to eat healthy in the winter:

  1. Monday- “I should eat healthy, but man, it’s Monday, and Mondays are always hard to get through with the whole week of school ahead of me. I shoud eat this donut, that will help.
  2. Tuesday- “Well, I do have a workout class tonight, so I will burn a lot of calories, so I guess it’s ok to eat half of this pizza for dinner.”
  3. Wednesday- “It’s hump day already, I’ve made it half way through the week. I deserve Chick-fil-a for making it this far.”
  4. Thursday-“Another exercise class tonight, I’ll burn off this large coke from Sonic and this pizza I am having for dinner again.”
  5.  Friday-“It’s Friday! I better celebrate by going out to dinner with people and eating a cheeseburger and fries, because it’s the weekend, so it’s ok to treat myself once a week.”
  6. Saturday- “Well, Saturday is technically the Sabbath, so I should be a good steward of this ice cream and giant bowl of buttered popcorn I’ve been given, and eat them both for dinner.”
  7. Sunday- “Is it Sunday again already? I’ll eat better this week. Starting tomorrow. Someone bring me a moomoo and a tub of lard.
